Vientiane is the capital, you can really see that. It is chaotic, there are traffic lights (semafori), pubblic buses and almost everybody has a mobile phone! I soon went to the morning market. The heart of every city. As always I enjoyed it a lot, looking at the people, taking pictures of them, watching people doing jobs I think we have lost along the years.
I saw a huge washing machine
If you do not want to buy anything you might be interested in a manicure or in having more information about your future! Otherwise you can go to bowling or even better, you can enjoy a lao beer and a noddles' soup!
All the signs are in English or French language too. This morning I went to see the public library first, understanding more about the people and their culture. There are books in English, Russian and French as well.
Then I visited the oldest temple in Vientiane, unfortunately I had to pay more...then I walked to the Victory Gate (very french style), ending up to buy a very nice lao fabric (tessuto) from the lovely woman in the last picture!
